After obtaining plots of land made available by the government for various investment projects, many so-called investors simply disappear, moving on to the next ‘get-rich-quick’ scheme and leaving the land idle. This can no longer be tolerated by the regional governments, stated Girma Biru, Minister of Trade and Industry, speaking to investors at a conference held at the Hilton Addis last Tuesday.
