ETC to issue mobile phones in 2 weeks

Japan’s funding to Ethiopia reaches 6.3 mln USD

 The Governments of Japan and Ethiopia signed a grant agreement of 1.956 million US dollars on Monday. This grant has put a new high, 6.3 million USD, to the amount of Japan’s assistance to Ethiopia, since 1985.

 

City awaits minimum of 28.4 mln birr from latest land lease bid

 In its 51st round of land lease tender issued this week, the Addis Ababa City Land Administration anticipates to get a bare minimum of 28.4 million birr from the leasing of land in the 110 locations it has put up for bid.

 

Children heart center to be opened

 Out of 1,000 infants born, it is estimated that six are born with congenital heart disease internationally, but in the case of Ethiopia out of the total almost 50,000 infant are born with the disease. This was told at a press conference organized by the Children's Heart Fund of Ethiopia at the compound of the Black Lion Hospital on Friday, January 28.
