Dear HB,

I’m sick of it I can’t take it anymore. I’ve had if up to here – and …sorry, I’m so upset that I forgot to first tell you what’s bothering me. It must be sucking in all that CO2 that’s frying my brain.
My pet peeve is the carbon monoxide poisoning on Addis streets caused by ancient inefficient vehicles and also by ill- maintained modern cars.
Smoke belching diesel 4WD vehicles are the worst culprits followed by creaking crawly trucks. I say, isn’t there a regulation prohibiting excessive exhaust emissions?
Horn Blower, give the relevant authorities a good long blast so that they can do something before we all perish from spontaneous combustion.
