Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) appointed General Adem Mohammed as Director General of National Intelligence and Security Services effective June 7, replacing the long service chief spy Getachew Assefa.
According to a statement issued by the office of the Prime Minister, his appointment took into account his experience.
