This strategic partnership will enable the production and use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) within Ethiopia’s aviation sector.
Under the agreement, Satarem will be responsible for producing SAF in Ethiopia, while Ethiopian Airlines has committed to acquiring the SAF from Satarem. This collaborative effort marks a major milestone in Ethiopian Airlines’ journey towards reducing its carbon footprint and contributing to global efforts to combat climate change.
