UNICEF Ethiopia invites eligible bidders to participate in a tender for the establishment for the Washing Machine.

Submission Requirement

Submission of bids should be done as per the below requirements:

A) Any query or clarification regarding this bid shall be sent via email to supplyaddisababa@unicef.org before or on Monday, October 21, 2024, before COB. When sending your request for clarification, please ensure that you specify the LRFQ number in the subject email and provide the name of your company, contact person, email, and mobile number.

B) The LRFQ reference and whether the submission is Technical or Financial should be indicated in the subject of the email.

Proposals must be submitted into two PDF attachments within one email:

The email must consist of clearly (Quotation Form, Technical Specifications, Company Profile, Financial Statements, Certificates and Licenses, References, Compliance Documents, Bid Security, Signed Declaration, scanned legal and credential documents) as outlined in the RFQ and any information relating to prices or fees. The attachment must be titled LRFQ-2024-9193589 – Technical & Financial offer – (Company Name).

C) Disclosure: Any hard copy bid submission will be automatically disqualified. The due date for submission is Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 3:00 PM. Full proposals should be submitted in ENGLISH via email to the ETH-Addis Ababa Supply at supplyaddisababa@unicef.org.

D) To reduce the risk of late delivery, emails should be sent in good time before the deadline for bid submission.

E) the detail specification of the items will be found as ANNEX B: on the bid.

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS   The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia hereby seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified and expreineced vendors with valid license to provide Serials service by arranging subscriptions for print and/or electronic titles and copies with format that will be provided. Delivery of the titles to be indicated in could be to a named location in multiple sites. ECA’s choice for the initial subscription will be finalized only upon the contract’s entry into force. The Knowledge Management Services Section (KMSS) currently subscribes to publications  from all over the world in different United Nations Official languges, mainly English and French. In general terms, the Contractor will carry out the instructions of ECA in the best interest of the UN. ECA reserves the right to sign the contract with one vendor (Sole service) or multiple vendors per the provision of the resources of financial offer. By submitting an EOI, the Applicant acknowledges that neither the United Nations nor the Applicant intends to create any contract or other relationship under which the United Nations is legally obliged to conduct the Expression of Interest process for the works in any manner or to proceed to tender on the basis set out in this Invitation to Expression of Interest or any other basis and that there is in fact no such contract or other  relationship in existence. UNECA reserves the right to verify statements by the EOI respondent and not to invite all those companies who had expressed interest. Only eligible firms that are successful at this  pre-qualification stage will be invited to participate in the tender invitation. Interested vendors should submit a fully completed Vendor Response Form to the link provided . All questions which the vendors should have must be sent through the above email address not later than 3 days before the closing date. The UN reserves the right to reject incomplete Expressions of Interest responses.
