SAFARICOM – EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR SUPPLY UNIFORM

Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia intends to engage the services of
a reputable supplier/s for the supply of unform for the use of trade and retail
shops. Safaricom is therefore soliciting for Expressions of Interest (EOI)
from interested qualified suppliers.

2.EOI –

This EOI is intended to identify reputable and qualified suppliers who will be
able to supply uniform as per the specification the full details of the type of
uniform will be provided in an RFP (Request for Proposal) that will be sent
out to bidders shortlisted through this EOI process.

3.Basic Bidder Requirements

The Company Profile, Legal company registration in Ethiopia,
including Registration certificate, Business License, TIN
Certificate, Memorandum of Association.

Manufacturing facility or show experience of importation or
supplying of high standard uniform.
Years of experience as a supplier of uniform
At least two list of clients who you have been supplied
A basic technical proposal to satisfy the requirements by
Safaricom to the extent detailed in this EOI document under item
4 below.
Past two/three years audited financial data /accounts.
Any additional information that Safaricom should be aware of for
uniform supplying

4.Technical Requirement

Interested suppliers should submit their responses on the following with
range of uniforms like Trouser, Skirt, sweater, Jacket, blouse, belt, keys
and so on.

5.Submission of Responses

Interested suppliers should submit their responses to this EOI in soft copy
addressed to
bids@safaricom.et to reach out not later than April 13, 2024

6.Next Steps

  • Review of submitted Expressions of Interest.
    – Prequalification of shortlisted suppliers.
    – Issuing of tender to prequalified suppliers.
    – Awarding the successful bidder.

Note:

1.Only the suppliers who meet our minimum requirements will be
considered for further discussions.
2.No prices should be provided with this EOI.

3.The receipt of a response shall not bind Safaricom to any
contractual agreements with the prospective bidder. Such
arrangements shall only come in place once a tender/RFP
process has been completed and an award issued to a
successful bidder after technical and commercial evaluation.
4.Any costs associated with the preparation and submission of the

discretion, the right to select or reject, either in totality or partially,

decisions made will be final and no correspondence will be
